A combination of dance and music.
The thing I find exciting is the combination of dance and music.
I have been standing on the edge of the highest cliff, seeking the light in the night forest, stopping time and becoming suspended in space, and all of it through the combination of dance and music.
Dance is a deeply unique way to transform into various identities and strengthen relationships while connecting with music played in earbuds.
Playlist: “Piano, guitar and bird sound”
I am a forest nymph, crafting nature’s untamed beauty, shaping trees, flowers, and shrubs, caring for wildlife and birds, and sculpting grottos, springs, streams, and wetlands.
Playlist: “Rock, Pop Rock, Hip Hop”
Amidst the turbulence of challenges, misunderstandings and adversity, I left the places I am used to, diving into a different, risky, unpredictable life with new people in another city. I can’t find a job or friends here, yet I refuse to give up, and take a bold step to a happy future.
Playlist: “Classical music for reading”
I am at a ball in a shining puffy dress, dancing on the stage for the most powerful queen in Europe. High society is watching me closely as I float like a swan, performing the gentlest dance routine ever.
Besides singing, dance has always been my cure from procrastination, fears and hard times. At night, when everyone’s sleeping, during study breaks, at sleepovers, it never fails to boost my energy, dispel all my worries, and connect me with my friends. Especially during the toughest periods of life, my mother and I reunite through music, chuckling while making funny moves and collaborating to dance tango, macarena, bachata.
Transforming into a carefree, dreamy and bright reality, dance and music could recharge my body as if healing from the stressful school days and bad news. Isn’t it fascinating to feel the music coursing through your veins, your breath quickening as you reach the climax of the story you’re telling — each movement shaped by imagination and emotion?
For me, dancing isn’t about parties or fleeting entertainment. It’s a gateway to transformation, to stepping out of myself and becoming something entirely new. When I dance, I am no longer just a person moving to music; I am a story, a spirit, a force of nature.
